Episode 0 – Welcome to the Yogi Fuel Podcast
In this debut episode, Mel shares about herself, the Yogi Fuel movement, what you can expect from the podcast, and gives you 3 simple tips to get you started on your journey.
The Yogi Fuel Podcast is dedicated to helping you uplevel your health, your practice and your consciousness. Using the ancient wisdom of Yoga and Ayurevda, mixed with modern science, having conscious conversations with spiritual thought leaders and holisitc health practitioners, as well as flyin’ solo sharing my own knowledge and experience to help you on your spiritual journey.
Yogi Fuel is really about “fuelling” yourself, mind, body and soul. It’s about fuelling our entire self – not just one part.
Here are a couple ways to get starte
1 Meditate Daily
It doesn’t need to be fancy, it doesn’t need to be long – but you CAN do it every day. Take 5 minutes before bed, and sit and be with your breaht.
2 Eat. Real. Food.
You don’t have to be raw vegan – you don’t even have to be vegan (yet, or at all if it doesn’t work for you). But starting to eat food, rather than food-like products is the best way to start.
3. Cultivate a spiritual practice
For me, that looks like Ashtanga yoga – for you, it may be meditation, going to church, chanting, etc. Whatever your expression, it doesn’t matter. But in my opinion, surrendering to something greater than yourself is so important.
